Enjoyed our travels today, morning tea at Streaky Bay and a lovely walk along the jetty, spoke to a very weathered fisherman who catches shark out at sea (for fish & chips). Very pretty place.
Next stop Murphys Haystacks south-east of Streaky Bay, a unique outcrop of pink granite boulders thought to be over 1500 million years old. Have a great photos on my camera. Well worth seeing and great view over the country side.
Agree with Shell, Port Kenny is the pits! Certainly didn't waste any time there.
Venus Bay was picturesque, beautiful bay with 3 large fishing boats at the jetty, looked like lots of holiday homes and fish shacks. Enjoyed sitting in our van having our lunch looking out at the bay, not nice weather today, windy and a few showers.
Next stop Elliston for a night. Not a very big town, on Waterloo Bay a centre for cereal growing, mixed farming and a fishing community
Awesome efforts on the blogging ma!!! Pics too!!!! Keep them coming
