Home to Border Village

All set to depart on Thursday 19/6 and found the ute battery flat!  Decided to wait for a new one to come from Bunbury considering our travels and the remoteness of the Nullarbor.  Finally set sail at 1.30 pm and went as far as Jerramungup and camped near the Fitzgerald River.  Devilled wine chops and a glass of red were very acceptable.

We made a very early start next morning (4.50) both in bed very early last night, still dark after Ravensthorpe (the spot lights work very well).  Arrived in Caiguna around 4.30 for the night.  Met Pauline Urquhart who goes to book club with Clare (I saw the KT number plate).  

Very chilly morning turned into a beautiful day.  Staying at Border Village tonight, had a look at Eucla and Old Telegraph Station.  Tone happy we can watch the Dockers on our TV tonight.
